Volunteer to work with the Tuli Conservation Project collecting data while learning the required skills in an unspoiled corner of the African wilderness.

The Tuli block is a huge span of wilderness that crosses the borders of South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. The Tuli Conservation Project, a self funded research organization, has exclusive rights to traverse a large portion of the Tuli block and is involved in the ongoing study of the animals, plantlife and climate of the area. The data collected in this area is used in scientific study inside and outside South Africa.
Now you can be a part of this incredible project. Deep Into Africa has places available for volunteers to join the project for a minimum of two weeks. Each volunteer becomes part of the study and helps collect data in the field. Volunteers learn how to track game, use GPS systems, identify animals and plants and develop a greater understanding of animal behavior while in the field - ussually in close proximity to elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, baboon and all the animals of this unspoiled haven.

2011 reservations are now open and places are extremely limited. Click here to volunteer in the Tuli.
